Top Personalization Apps in Europe: Q1 2025 Performance Insights

In the first quarter of 2025, the personalization app market in Europe saw notable trends across both iOS and Android platforms. Here’s a closer look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Zedge™ Wallpapers & Ringtones experienced a gradual decline in weekly downloads, starting from around 156K in early January to approximately 92K by the end of March. Despite this, its weekly revenue remained relatively steady, averaging around $16K, with a slight peak of $19K at the end of December. The app maintained a strong user base with weekly active users fluctuating between 1.8M and 2.3M throughout the quarter.

Character.Me: AI Roleplay Chat showed an upward trend in weekly revenue, reaching over $10K by the end of March. Downloads spiked in mid-January at approximately 5.7K and continued to fluctuate, ending the quarter at about 4K.

Niagara Launcher ‧ Home Screen saw a decrease in weekly revenue from around $9K to $5.4K over the quarter. Downloads were stable initially but surged to over 21K towards the end of March. Active users increased steadily, peaking at around 234K in late March.

Smart Launcher 6 ‧ Home Screen saw significant growth in weekly downloads, peaking at 30K in early February. Revenue followed a similar upward trend, reaching $2.5K by the end of March. Active users consistently increased, ending the quarter with over 257K.
